Re: Concealed Carry with a Weapon Light
+1 for Raven Phantom, long wait time but worth it. I carry an M&P 45c with TLR3, and my Raven is comparable to my comp tac.

Re: Best gun for women
My wife loves her Glock 27, I love my M&P 45c. we tried a couple of others, Taurus, XD's etc. Glock works for her, try a few different ones, until you find the best one for you, in the largest caliber that you can shoot well. I think the most important thing is to find one you will carry everyday ...

Re: Maverick 88
I just got 2 Phoenix kicklites for my mossbergs, one is the maverick. They are well made and bolted right up nice and tight. I got them off Amazon. Havent got to shoot them yet but they should do the trick. I also looked at the Blackhawk spec ops, but don't like how the stock rides back on the ...

Re: Concealed Carry Confrontation
This is interesting, I've been in that store several times, in shorts and a t-shirt, gun IWB and never had them look at me twice, yes there is a greeter there sometimes, but they usually just ask if you need any help. I did notice that the door has a sign saying its against store policy to enter ...

Re: M&P 45 compact...Yay?...Nay?
Excellent pistol, I carry mine in a m-tac holster wearing shorts and a t-shirt all the time, no problem concealing it.
Its also very accurate no problem hitting at 15-20 yds, even double taps and rapid fire.
Only complaint is trigger feels gritty, this works its self out after a while as you ...

I Agree though I carry the 185 gr bonded core (gold dots). These are very hot loads I can tell the difference by the sound and recoil verses 200 gr gold dot +p's.

Re: Suggestistions on AR-15s
Depends on what you want, the M&P 15 is a good gun at a good price, IMO the 15T is one of the best OOB AR's for the price.
You can also look at Spikes tactical. They have a very good AR 15 for around $700-$800 no frills but rock solid and ready to shoot. This is probably the best rifle you can ...

Re: Wife's Concerns
What a strange thing for her to say, sounds like she doesn't like te situation but is more scared of the gun. Thats a shame :headscratch
My wife knows that when I'm not at work I carry, the only exception being if we go out to drink. The only time she asks is when something she doesn't like ...

WOW, People were showing incredible restraint here. I can honestly say I would probably reacted badly to this situation.
First he was hiding and jumped out, second he grabbed him, third it was dark.
Not sure what would have happened next but I would have attempted to break contact probably ...

Re: Yes,Im a harden criminal...
Had a similar problem when I applied for my CHL. Was arrested when I was sixteen in California for carrying a knife (It was not concealed). I was released after a couple of hours, no charges were filed.
However had to get a letter from the county saying there were no charges on file. Took about ...

Re: Sitting in a restaurant.......
Just my two cents,
If he's waving a gun around he's a threat, If I get an opportunity to shoot without endangering others I will do so.
If the situations escalates, he fires the gun, starts taking hostages, or moves towrd me. I will engage him. :fire

Re: Minotaur vs. Crossbreed
Got my M-tac A couple of days ago. I like it a lot, took a little adjusting to get it at the ride hieght and cant I wanted, but its made for that.
Breaks in fast, and very comfortable with M&P 45 compact. Easy fast draw, and reholster too.
Cant go wrong with the M-Tac Minotaur.

M&P 45 compact,
I liked it so much I traded in my USP 40, and bought a new M&P 40 too.
Plan on buying the wife the M&P 9mm Compact ASAP.
