I am now at 80 days and am quite disgusted. Everything was in order with my packet and there have been no delays on my part. They are blaming the FBI and give me very generic responses when I inquire like it is no big deal. How many other folks have been waiting this long??

This whole process is a real beating. Texas charges more than other states and takes longer. It seems like there is some real inefficiency with the department. 75 days and counting for me... sigh.

Waldene responded to my email saying that it would probably go this week, however, when I asked if my prints had come back from the FBI she said No.. not yet. ARGH! Still says processing on the website. I can't believe that TX has such high fees and such slow processing!
