Re: Juiceland in Lakeway TX: I don’t think so

If you go looking for trouble, you can find it. Not impressed with attitude. I'm not looking for trouble. I'm looking for this local business to either follow the law or change their policy. I don't see why they should get to skirt the requirements and not hear about it. IMO, if we allow businesses...

Re: Juiceland in Lakeway TX: I don’t think so

I don’t think they’ll take up their limited window space for the legally required sign. But if they do, I’d rather they have a bigger advertisement that they a) don’t want certain customers and b) are a soft target. That doesn't make sense to me. If they decide post 30.06 and 30.07 and do further r...

Re: Juiceland in Lakeway TX: I don’t think so

That will be great. That way those who conceal carry will be kept out. Great strategy. And then their business will suffer more. The Whole Foods in Lakeway put up 30.05/06 signs last year in October/November. Last month I noticed they were taken down and I asked the manager why and he said "we...

Juiceland in Lakeway TX: I don’t think so

Saw this on the door at the Juiceland in Lakeway. Doesn’t look like a 30.05 to me. I don’t usually open carry but I think I’ll be making a visit soon.

Gun Show Report: Austin April 2014

I posted this on the smith & wesson forum but thought you guys would like it here. It is written from my perspective looking for pre-lock Smiths, so others may or may not have had a similar experience. Attended the gun show at the Cedar Park center, home of the minor league Texas Stars Hockey te...

Hate to promote another website, but if you list that gun with photos at that price at smith-wessonforum.com it will sell in minutes.

.22 subsonic as snake ammo in suburbs?

Okay, guys... question for y'all... I live in one of those master planned communities on the outskirts of Austin by Lake Travis. We have an HOA with strict rules, however they aren't total jerks about enforcement like in some communities. One of the HOA rules is no firing of guns on property. We are...

Re: Anybody else order a Crossbreed holster lately?

I ordered a Crossbreed for Glock 19 on January 12. It arrived March 6. The quality is worth the wait.

Re: Why do I need an assault rifle?

How about this: They are just plain fun to shoot! You do own guns that are fun and not just functional, right? Well, an AR-15 will almost certainly jump to the top of your fun list.

Re: Priority Mail

I remember when I got my CHL that I sent mine in Priority, and so I knew the exact date it was delivered. And it would make me nuts when I would see others here in the waiting room who sent their items either after me, or at the same time via regular mail, get updates before I did. Priority Mail doe...

Re: Uncomfortable carrying

The Crossbreed is outright the most comfortable holster available. What it sounds like to me is that before you had a pair of pants that fit you, and now you are wearing the same pants except stuffing the Glock/Crossbreed into them. And now they are too tight, which is why it is so uncomfortable. Yo...

So, I guess I shouldn't be expecting the SuperTuck I ordered on January 12 anytime soon...
