Re: Lee single press kit.

All good points, I use both balance beam and digital with equal success. The most important factor, as was mentioned, is air movement in the room. Be aware when the AC / heater fan turns on. It does affect the results.

Consider some IDPA activities. It's a great opportunity to practice those real-life scenarios.

Re: Proposals would let Texas owners brandish arms

I had read the article in the HouChron on Saturday and didn't notice such wording. I retrieved the paper from the recycle bin and those are not the words in the printed article. (I don't think they snuck in and replaced my copy with a corrected issue). :reddevil I wonder why there's a difference. Th...

Re: Do you support only unlicensed open carry?

Another thought. Don't we already have unlicensed open carry for rifles and shotguns? Nobody is training these people or screening them. I agree that certain people have no business carrying a loaded gun... or driving a car etc. But restricting everybody in order to prevent some possible future pro...

Re: Do you support only unlicensed open carry?

Although most here would admit that stupid, ill-informed voters should not be allowed to vote, or that stupid, ill-informed journalists should not be allowed to publish, but that is not the case. Ah, but that ill-informed vote or that ill-informed journalist just doesn't scare me as much as ill-inf...

Re: HB1815 vs. 30.06 question

If a CHL holder left the gun in their car (let's say in the console) and a 'gun-sniffing' dog detected it, it wouldn't be 'on or about your person' so neither 30.05 (since he's a CHL holder) nor 30.06 would apply. Wouldn't they need to catch you in the car? Of course, you're still potentially fired....

Re: Do you support only unlicensed open carry?

I totally understand... I too am against licensing to exercise our 'rights'. But I know a lot of folks that are 'legal to purchase' but should not be carrying. How do we sort them out or force some training. It would be a lot simpler if we had mandatory military service, but that's another issue. I'...

Sorry if I offended.
