Re: S & W CSX-E
The origonal CSX has been my daily carry since it first came out. No malfunctions. I added talon grips immediately. I never had the "false reset" while firing. Very comfortable all day carry.

Kimber CDS9 Availability
Can anyone upodate the availability on the Kimber CDS9? I emailed Kimber a couple of months ago and they said they were "shipping now". Still not seeing them.
If anyone here has one, please post your experience with it.

Re: FN Reflex SAO with no Manual Safety
Jose,
I'll second the 226 SAO Legion. I got one a few months ago. Excellent build quality but haven't fired it yet. Along those lines, after salivating for a year, I got a BUL SAS UL 3.5". Very high quality and shoots like a dream.

Re: FN Reflex SAO with no Manual Safety
Anyone know which direction the manual safty works on the Reflex? If it's up to fire, this is a non issue, I don't want it. If it's down to fire it's a consideration.

FN Reflex SAO with no Manual Safety
I love the FN Reflex. Great gun.
I am looking for others' opinions on carrying a single action only, hammer-fired, with no manual safety. FN specs says it has a 5lb trigger. Mine ranges 4.25 - 5.25lbs. To me, any SAO hammer fired should have a manual safety. Is my brain stuck in 1911 thinking? My ...

Magnets on Guns
I love the idea of a magnet pistol mount under a desk, cabinet, etc. But I'm concerned the magnet will magnetize the handgun... attracting metal shavings all over it. Will that happen?

Re: Tandy Leather - Lubbock
There was a Tandy Leather in my town years ago. As a kid, I made holsters, belts, knife scabbards, and a wallet. Then I got in to making jewelry with leather and beads. Overall a great experience for a kid. They closed up somewhere in the 70's. I wish my kids would've had an opportunity to "play" at ...

Re: New Favorite Holster
Mike,
You are absolutely correct. Back when I was carrying a Shield in leather the mag release failed to function. The entire release mechanism was rusted and would not release the mag. Required a trip to the gunsmith.
It never occurred to me to grease the mag release before that.

Re: New Favorite Holster
Well, after more than a month of edc I'm still very impressed with this holster. After a couple of days getting used to the clip it's a non-issue.
I work in a very hot environment. 100+ degrees F. My leather holsters would get wet and bleed on my pants and get the firearm all wet. No more bleed ...

New Favorite Holster
I never thought I'd be a kydex kind of guy. I've always used custom made leather holsters. I've tried some kydex in the past and was not impressed. Then I found this place: http://tulster.com/ . VERY impressed. Great design and workmanship. I never thought I'd call a kydex holster attractive but ...

Re: Finally Found a Negative on the Shield
Is yours modified? The reason I ask is my shield has a polymer button for the magazine release. I don't see a way for it to stick due to rusting.
I may have to investigate mine further.
Dave
Mine is 100% stock.
If you will eject your mag, turn the handgun upside down and look in the grip with ...

Finally Found a Negative on the Shield
The 9mm Shield has been my EDC for almost a year. This handgun has been flawless until I discovered the following...
The mag release button rusted stuck. Could not eject a mag. Given, I haven't fired or cleaned it in a few months. I saw the brown stuff around the button. I thought it was from the ...

Kahr P380
I currently own a Colt Pony, smithed by Scott McDougal, Ruger LCP, S&W M&P Bodyguard. I sold my AMT Backup .380 years ago; way to heavy.
I don't like any of these .380's for varying reasons. The Glock 42 is too big for me for a .380.
Anyone have any experience with the Kahr P380? I'm looking for ...

Search for a good .380
With summer coming again soon I've been real concerned about settling-in on a .380 pistol. I am not a fan of the .380 but it is the caliber I carry when I decide I'm not going to carry.
The last couple of years has been a Ruger LCP. Small...light...awesome. But I've never been comfortable with ...
