Re: Clintons Busted Yet Again

When you're promoting Democracy (raw or the Socialist variety), I guess it pays to organize your community according to your agenda.

Re: Ultimate Goal of Dems to repeal 2nd Amendment

The pesky thing about natural human rights is that regardless of Government acknowledgement -- like that enshrined in the Second Amendment -- they still exist.

Re: Eating is linked to cancer

It seems to me that a person has an increased likelihood of getting cancer by continuing to exist. The only sure way to prevent a cancer diagnosis is to die prior to being diagnosed.

Re: CA: four times more likely to die in a mass fire than a mass shooting

The Leftist/Statist/media slant to demonize firearms is plainly evident to anyone who cares to do a little research. This slant serves one purpose -- to ultimately make individual ownership of firearms a criminal act, thereby ceding all effective deadly force options to the Government and (other) cr...

Re: What would YOU do?

Seek exit from the vicinity for my party by using cover/concealment wherever possible and transiting open spaces as quickly and low-profile as possible, being ready to engage with the shooter at any point along the way. Assist others along the way where possible. My duty is to my loved ones first an...

Re: Would you support this gun private purchase restriction

The ability of bad actors to acquire and use practically any tool to inflict violence upon me and mine tells me that it is not prudent to restrict in any way my ability to secure proper tools for defense and train in their use. My fellow man should have the same ability. That my innate Right to defe...

Percieved threat / disparity of force / amount of ammo issues notwithstanding, her statement that she "shot until I couldn't shoot any more", would seem to be fertile ground for a prosecutor if they chose to press charges.

Re: Knife attack on 3 year old - Republic of Georgia

I can't say what I'd have done -- I wasn't there. That said, it appears that the parents were completely unaware (what I'd call awareness level white or green, not concerned that any threat might present itself). This level of awareness, while great while a person is asleep or at rest in their home,...

Re: Not The Whole Book-But Should Be Enough

I thought as much! Your answer confirms three observations I have about this type of person: They will intentionally lie about their real beliefs, in order to place themselves in a position where they can put those beliefs into action. In this case, SJW lied about being able to convict given the ev...

Corollary to "If all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail"... If all you have is a rope, everything might just need to be tied up.

Re: 'People are on edge': Mass violence threats – at least 30 in 18 states – have surged since El Paso, Dayton - USA Tod

Some people ARE on edge -- due largely to the fear mongering media and the divisiveness that "sells". One can hardly hear or see a "news" story these days without getting hit with an us-or-them argument, typically one-sided against the anti-Progressives, aka Right-Wing Deplorables. This has reached ...

Re: Wisdom from Robert Heinlein

I have enjoyed all of his books that I have read. The generally Libertarian elements in them resonate with me, along with the Renaissance Man (Jack of all trades) angle. The only aspect of his fictional tales that I find somewhat objectionable is his apparent favorable view of eugenics. Of course, w...

Re: .22 pistol choices

Between the choices you list, you have to narrow it down by intended use / feature set. The S&W is a solid sub-caliber facsimile of the Shield, and if you want a gun that generally mimics control placement and handling of the Shield it is first rate. Since you intend to suppress the gun, I am thinki...

It would seem to me that attempting to strong-arm the Court in such manner might bring a Contempt of Court ruling.

Re: Epstien died in Prison under 24hr watch!

Let's see, Epstein arrested July 9th, FBI/etc doesn't get around to raiding "Pedophile Island" until two days after Epstein "commits suicide"? Doesn't sound suspicious at all.
Yep. Plenty of time for a cleanup crew to sterilize things for everyone else.
