The company does NEED probable cause, though. They can just demand that as a condition of your continued employment they get to search your vehicle. If you consent and have a firearm, and that violates company policy, then they can fire you.

I realize that nobody likes "what if" scenarios. But, I have a question that I hope you guys can help me with. We often see gas stations and the such getting robbed, and occassionally someone gets shot, but in most cases there is no shooting. Some kid wants some fast cash for drugs or whatever ...
