Thanks for the info...I found that pdf as well. I just spoke with the local CHL instructor and he advised me that if when he sets up residency here in Texas and changes his D.L., he will need to apply for a Texas CHL if he wants to carry concealed. His Michigan CPL will no longer be valid.

Michigan to Texas - CHL Question
Our office has hired a new Engineer and recently moved here from Michigan. He had just applied for and received his CHL in Michigan prior to moving here to set up Residence in Texas.
1) Once he changes his D.L. address to his Texas address, thus his Michigan CHL, will his CHL still be valid?

Hello All, new to the Forum, but not new to Forums. I have had my CHL since 2001. I have been following the progress of several bills and mostly interested in this one. Could someone please clarify if this bill will completely eliminate Concealed Carry or is it's intent to supplement CHL holders ...
