Re: Built my first AR

Check out the Primary Arms MD-ADS... same as the Holosun that Annoyed Man posted, but with a few changes, such as the battery on the side instead of the bottom. A little less, and Primary Arms stands behind the product.

He actually voted NO in the final vote. I wonder how many OCT members realize that.
No he didn't.

Re: Sig p290

They had trouble when first released... Sig released version 2 and called it the P290RS. I have the RS version and love it. Carry it in my pocket daily. I don't get the "too heavy for pocket carry" thought... Place it in my pocket and forget it is there.

Re: A Look At The Glock 43 (Several Photos)

I think width is the biggest thing the 43 has going for it when compared to the 26. I was going to grab a 43, but I found the width difference didn't make up for the 4 round disadvantage. Also, with a 26 I can easily carry a spare 15 or 17 round mag, all you get is another 6 with the 43. Major ...

From CJ Grisham Facebook page...

This really will be historic. At a time when our freedoms are being constricted every where you turn, Texas is going the other direction and showing the whole nation a new direction. :txflag:

How is this a new direction when 40 some odd other states already allow some fashion of open carry with ...

Re: New Pocket Gun KelTec P9

If inexpensive pocket carry is the objective, don't overlook the Sig P290RS... They had some issues when first released as the P290, but the RS models have addressed that. Available in 9mm and .380, and come with night sights. Only drawback that I see is that they are "heavier" than others, but I ...

Re: Bushnell TRS-32-any one have one?

I have the Bushnell TRS-25... decent red dot for money. The TRS-25 is on my son's M&P 15-22 and I also have another Bushnell red dot on my .22lr AR. They have worked well for my use. I know several who have them on a 5.56mm AR and they work for that too.

Re: Smith and Wesson M&P15 PC

If you want a carbine with a collapsible stock, then I would pass on that particular model, since it is a fixed stock, 20" barrel with rifle length gas system... unless I was getting it dirt cheap.

Otherwise, look at the M&P 15 Sport, for a low cost entry.

I'm waiting for one of these companies to put a huey in the air, doors off, and shooters hanging out the door on bungees cutting loose the "pig" while flying at treetop. Yeeeehaaaa!
Do you want a hunt or a massacre? ;-)
The purpose of a helo hunt is eradication, not meat supply.
Why would you ...

Start her off slow with a .22lr. Ruger, Browning, S&W... many good ones out there. Once she is more comfortable, you can move her up in caliber.

I believe that it is not compliant regardless of letter size.
