Installing new muzzle brake
Replacing the original A2 style muzzle brake on my RRA.
I understand that one tightens to 20-25ftlbs (good and snug...) them adjusts further to get it oriented properly.
The new brake is a good 270 degrees off orientation once torqued- I doubt it will turn that far. I'd be afraid that I'd strip ...

Re: Wireless router advice needed
Your comment about dropping the connection-- DSL ? Cable ?
Our Comcast connection was quite poor-- lots of really low speed, dropped connections. Their support staff were useless ! After several returned/replaced modems, I bought my own Motorola model. Perfect-- much more sensitive to their poor ...

Re: Rubber Band Assault Rifle, err..shotgun...
There goes someone's eye--
We had repeating rubber band rifles when kids. We could "load" a dozen or so rubber bands. One of our neighbors bulit them for a bunch of us kids. I wish I still had the drawings of the mechanism.

Re: Front Load Washers
We replaced our good ole washer and dryer with these front loading ones. They seem to take a bit longer to run the cycles but I was told that's because we may be putting larger loads in them so ??
Everything I read says clean the washer, using its cleaning cycle or one of the cleaning agents and ...

Your yard= YOUR yard.
Calling 911 frequently may help to establish a patern. I know that some would comment that's a waste of HCSO's resources. They may not send a unit, but at least the situation is doccumented. Any of your neighbors onboard might help.

Re: Anyone use Freedom munitions?
I've shot a few hundred of their 9mm-- no issues. I see a number of boxes lying about at ranges and matches.
I have a small stash of their 38spcl. Shot 1 box and so far OK.

Re: 3006 sign postings
Here's my opinion--
Properly posted signage must be seen by the person entering the location. One could be of the opinion that if one has seen a properly displayed sign anywhere on an entrance to a location, then one is aware of the entire location's status even if all entrances are not properly ...

Re: Ruth's Chris
We've been to one a few times. Good food. Nice quiet atmosphere. Excellent service. One of my pet peeves with restaurants is the "hovering" waitstaff-- constantly interrupting, checking "is there's anything else I can get you...." mode. It tends to make us feel hurried-- like get out my table. That ...

Re: Man shoots self at College Station gun range
I've seen policies at ranges which rent firearms that they will not rent to a single individual, meaning that one must have someone with them. I initially thought that odd, but in light of a few of these type incidents it seems plausible.

Re: Are you concerned about Lead exposure
I'm not concerned about lead when shooting outdoors.
Indoors is a bit of a concern. I wear an old pair of shoes. I also wear a hat (helps prevent skin exposure :-) )As another said, I get home and toss the clothes in the washer.
