So do you think any CHL'ers went in w/ their CCW's?
Im sure some do carry every gun show, even against the 30.06 sign.
I havent, as I do not want to be a test case for the legality of posting a government building, but again, concealed is concealed - so if someone does, I hope they dont get ...

Re: Pasadena gun show
Anyone attend the gun show in Pasadena this weekend? How was attendance and pricing?
It was packed. The vendor located at the front right as you entered had good prices but was firm. No room to haggle.
I know there was a30.06 at the entrance form a post in another thread. Were there LEO's inside ...

Re: Shooting Skeet with a Rifle
I took another look at this photo and realized there's no way he's shooting skeet, unless the traps at Camp David throw pigeons at eye level. Anyone who's shot skeet knows even the low house is angle up. His body position is completely at odds with a swinging shot. He 's leaning back. And another ...

Re: Shooting Skeet with a Rifle
That photo was photoshopped. Here is the real original photo.
:smilelol5: I can't decide which photo is better, the drone, or that one!
Probably taken before they showed him how to hold it. Someone should try to get the meta date or what ever it's called on the original image to see when it was ...

Re: Houston Area Gun Shows
If you wind up going post a report.
ammo was sold out in a few minutes, some dealers have very high prices. Others have good prices. I saw plenty of AR15 but for $2700. No problem getting in but it was packed. 30.06 sign sitting at the front door.
Do they have PO's at the entrance questioning ...

Re: Thoughts about this online store
I just looked up Top Notch Top Ends and their website is http://www.tntesales.com/ , If this is the outfit you ordered from they are in Beloit, WI. The have an address under the "Contact Us" heading. You can also check your order status. I'm with TAM, send them details. I would pay with a method ...

Re: Shooting Skeet with a Rifle
Just saw a better version of the photo on Fox nad the ports can be seen clearly on the left side of the barrel. Flat plane and poor resolution gives the illusion of being on the other side. I can't say much for his grip on the for-end unless he's using the tips of his fingers to space his lead ...

Re: .45 Colt .357 mag or .44 Mag
I agree. On many levels it is the best choice; availability and cost of ammo being foremost. I do think a .45 Colt SAA and a Lever in .45 LC is a neat combination, but personally would still go with a .357/.38 Spcl.AEA wrote:.357 Mag for many reasons. All good ones....

Re: Building a bolt action rifle. Where do I start?
I recommend joining forums dedicated to the type of shooting and rifles that you are interested in. Benchrestcentral.com is one I know of. My cousin shoots benchrest and has built several rifles. Many of them are "machines" that barely resemble a traditional rifle. If you are going to go custom ...

Re: 17y/o Killed By Neighborhood Watch/CHL
Why would the prosecutors not want to play fair. Are they attempting to railroad the defendant? Are we not after the truth?
You're kidding, right?
They have been railroading Zimmerman since day one. Just a few days ago, a story was "leaked" about Zimmerman supposedly being a child-molester, a ...
