Re: Minority Report - Real Life

Then on the other hand is thi...

In related news: Oceana is at war with Eurasia. Oceana has always been at war with Eurasia. That brings back some memories. Showing my age somewhat, I read that book in junior high, a little before the year 1984. I'm so old I read it before Eric Blair changed his name. Back on topic maybe a telepho...

Re: Plain clothes officer shoots three robbers

Just wish his aim was little more accurate, but in the circumstances job well done! How do you get sentenced to 8 years in 2008 and be back on the streets so soon?

My thought exactly; especially since he kept moving his free hand in front of the muzzle. At least his camera man was smart enough to not show up!

Re: 51%

ask to see their liquor license. Sign = RED its 51% Sign = BLUE you're good to go Regardless, the entire facility shouldn't benposted I wouldn't think, just the bar. I think a polite call to TABC might be in order to see what they have the 51% sign assigned to. Surely it's just the bar. Maybe someo...

Re: Murder while DWI should be punished with death!

What is the average sentence for a manslaughter or lower level murder conviction with no prior record? Intent and such are big factors in these cases I think. So is the idea that she is not likely to be a repeat risk. It said she will serve at least 13 of the 26 years before being eligible for paro...

Sure it can. If you can get close enough use it like a straight razor on the jugular.
You don't have to get too close. Read Ricky Jay's book "Cards As Weapons".: "rlol"

handog, I don't know what's involved in an Open Records Request but If you have to make it in person or pick up the documents in person take a witness or better yet a lawyer with you to avoid any possibity of the type of treatment the guy in Carrollton said he received at the police station. i.e. As...

Re: We want to get a dog...

Thank you all for your suggestions, guys! There were a lot of suggestions that fit the bill, but ultimately my hubby and I have decided on the Standard Schnauzers. They look like they will best fit our lifestyle and needs, and as an added bonus they're gosh darn gorgeous. Tass, you mentioned Pembro...

Re: We want to get a dog...

here's a webite with a list of dogs that shed little hair. All dogs shed to some extent but these particular breed lose so little hair they quailfy as "Non-Shedding" so to speak. Re: What if (God forbid)...

They would not have to change the constitution. They can regulate us into de facto submission. The gov. could levy taxes on parts, ammo, accessories to the point where we could not afford their use, they could also mandate ownership fees/permits/licences at such prohibitive cost as to virtually dis...
