Now the DPS should rearrange the test emphasis. If the State is going to mandate the course and the test at all (constitutionality issues aside), then the focus ought to be on the force/deadly force/legalities of actually carrying (30.06, campus carry, courtrooms, etc). The student should be told he can lose his license for screwing up, but anything much beyond that can be handled with a handout the student can reference later, and certainly do not need screwy questions on the test about whether a license can be suspended, revoked, rewired, or finely shredded after the second misdemeanor following a full (or was it fool?) moon -- do they still have that question on there? Been awhile.

I know the statute says some things have to be covered, but as far as the test goes (using JustMe's accounting), seventeen questions on administrivia like licensing and eligibility (that can always be looked up if you forget) and only seven on deadly force (that you need to know pretty cold?) That certainly implies that administrivia is twice as important as the force statutes, which is... :biggrinjester:
