EDC Titanium Pen

Post by PUCKER »

I just received this beautiful and fine, precision-machined EDC Titanium Bolt Action Pen from Tactile Turn. They are manufactured here in Texas in the DFW area on a high-precision CNC Turning Center (a DMG MORI) - as opposed to many that are NOT. I've had it for a little over a week and I am still very impressed with it. The Bolt Action is really cool / slick / smooth - think of it as an adult fidget spinner! I also opted for the $20 optional Damascus knob on the Bolt Action as well as the $10 extra for engraving on the clip. The pen is $99 plus the add-ons. Tactile Turn has a nice range of available materials and different pens as well. The pen is SOLID and it also writes very well. It differs from other tactical style pens in that it actually looks like a "normal" pen - I have no doubt that this little gem is capable of inflicting some persuasion, if needed. This is the regular length version. The company offers shorter versions should you desire them. I've had some nice email exchanges with the owner - we have a manufacturing technology magazine so it's always nice to "talk shop" with those in the business. Here is a link to the Bolt Action Pens. Enjoy! :tiphat:

Very nice indeed!

For a lower priced alternative, take a look at a Zebra F701 pen (all stainless steel) for about six bucks on Amazon. It's technically not a tactical pen, but being that it's all stainless steel, I think it could be.

Looks like a cool Xmas gift. Close up of the Damascus knob?
Will they engrave like a company name?

It definitely would make a nice Christmas gift!

For engraving, yes - up to 20 characters from what I recall - it has to fit on the pen clip in a readable fashion.

Not mine, from the website - each Damascus knob is different - this one is really cool!
