Days when I'm not headed to work, where I cannot carry, and I'll be wearing my Glock and watch, the Glock gets put on before the watch. The watch also gets taken off before the Glock in the evening. Now, on those days when I'm able and lucky enough to get a nap in the middle of the day it is usually on the recliner portion of the couch and the Glock and spare mags are still on my belt. So, I don't wear it at night, when sleeping, but for midday naps, oh yeah!
I am not and have never been a LEO. My avatar is in honor of my friend, Dallas Police Sargent Michael Smith, who was murdered along with four other officers in Dallas on 7.7.2016.

Most days I work from home, from the comfort of my bed. I have my laptop computers on a stand next to my bed, and my Sig (238 or 938) on my nightstand. Anytime someone comes to the door, the Sig goes in my pocket with me. When I'm watching TV in the livingroom, it's either in my pocket, or next to me.

When I leave the house, cut the grass, check the mail or going to the store I always carry. One time when exiting my garage to go on a bike ride a neighbors pitbull charged at me. Pulled my weapon and put my bicycle between us. Dog eventually went home. I've read about people being heldup while cutting their grass. Better to be safe than sorry.

I have one with me when I carry the trash to the curb for pickup.
I mostly have one within arm's reach or closer when meandering around the house.
Been having one on me or handy for 38 years and still haven't needed one yet.
I hope to keep extending that record and still be ready to end it if necessary.

I won't be wronged, I won't be insulted, and I won't be laid a hand on.
I don't do those things to other people and I require the same of them.
Don’t pick a fight with an old man. If he is too old to fight, he’ll just kill you.
