2019 New LTC Processing Timeline...

#1

Post by nwoodco1 » Wed Jan 30, 2019 4:06 pm

Alright everyone, I didn't see a 2019 tracker yet, so I figured I'd start one.
I just uploaded my LTC-100 form and got my fingerprints done, so my time starts now: 01/30/2019.
I am going to try and restrain myself from checking my status everyday, but will unlikely be successful.
Anyone else starting the process chime in!
(This is also my first post on the site)

Started my CHL in December with application and prints. January 31 submitted supporting documents. Feb 02 took CHL class and submitted LTC-100. The wait starts. :)

My status appeared today....everything is green except background which shows under review. Hopefully, it won't be long now.

I have a question for you all. Do you think it is necessary to send dispositions of arrests that are more than 10 years old. I was arrested for public intoxication back in 2006. I pled no contest and paid a fine. I did not submit any paperwork when I filled out my application for my LTC. However, I listed the arrest. Do you feel that my application will be delayed since I didn't send the paperwork?
Have any of you chosen not to submit the paperwork and still been approved?

As a general rule, the more documentation you provide Austin, the faster the process of getting the card or having it denied. They might need to see the disposition just to clear a question. If you have already sent the application, I'm not sure I would send it separately. It might open a can of worms, but then it is possible to have that can hit you later. But if it is still on your desk, contact the county you were in and get the documentation together.

Like others have said, you should send any and all supporting documents to speed up the process. I sent in documentation for a DWI I got back in college.

Submitted 8am this morning.

Nothing on my checklist except a note that they will try to use my fingerprints on file, but if they do not meet current quality standards I have to go get new ones. They will contact me if I have to get new ones.

I've been at print pending since Saturday the 9th, and the wait is killing me. I moved from a state where if you applied on Monday, you would have your license in hand on Thursday.

Also, it appears the LTC website only updates once per day, some time after midnight. I haven't seen a status change during the day so far.
