The Bias Against Guns by John R. Lott is an examination of media coverage of firearms and how the facts are misrepresented, distorted, mis-reported or lied about in order to fit an anti-gun agenda.
Lott presents documented facts that show the media to be misleading the public on guns in crime. Because this is a scholarly work it is not the most rollicking read. It is, however, the ammunition you need to do battle with the anti-gunners.
Those who seek to disarm us "for our own good" tell lies. They play fast and loose with the truth. They are aided by the media, print, radio and television. If they told one big lie they would soon be unmasked for what they are. That's why they tell lots of different lies, over and over. Repetition is the key for their lies to be believed.
We need more writers like Lott who undertake to pull the mask from the cruel charade the anti-gunners are playing.
