SGM (Retired) Billy Waugh was a legendary groundbreaker in the Special Forces Regiment. Served our country in the Korean & Vietnam wars (MAC-V SOG in Vietnam; part of the first-ever freefall parachute infiltration into combat). After retirement from the Army, eventually was recruited by the CIA and did groundbreaking work in the middle east & Africa.

Hunted Carlos the Jackal.

Tracked Bin Laden well before 9/11, and at the age of 72 returned to service in Afghanistan as part of the initial CIA / Special Forces push.

A lifetime of service, passing from this life at age 93.

May God allow him rest, & comfort for his family knowing his was a life well lived.

I wasn't familiar with him so I had to look him up. Pretty interesting read. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Billy_Waugh
