TN: 88 yo female Liquor Store owner arrested for shooting one of two robbers

Still wearing a brace from the injury she received in a previous robbery, the little old lady fired her mothers gun for the first time at a robber leaving with two bottles of Crown Royal. His partner in crime was in the back room trying to steal vodka. The victim amended his previous statement to say that he was planning to pay for the Crown Royal.

Following the link, indeed the guy who got shot told police he and his buddy were intoxicated on alcohol and cocaine and went into the store intending to steal liquor, only to change his story the next day.

He's not a criminal, he just "wanted it more".
This is TN. I hope they clear the lady. Not sure about the state laws there but I view TN as a friendly and civilized state (until the dumb-ocrats get ahold of it).
