He is registered as an active Democrat and has contributed financially to the campaigns of Democrat political candidates. Pay attention to section 4 where he tears Prof Hemenway to shreds.
"They surveyed 5,000 individuals, asking them if they had used a firearm in self-defense in the past year and, if so, for what reason and to what effect."
