Purplehood, thanks for an excellent review. I want to add that I am especially appreciative of how respectfully you wrote it, knowing that you do not personally hold the same religious beliefs that many of us here hold dear. You have basically described it exactly as I have imagined it. I'll probably see it some day after it gets on Netflix, but I'll watch it as a B-grade sci-fi flick instead of a biblical recounting. Or not. Even without being freighted with the spiritual implications, it sounds like a pretty badly made movie.........sort of a allegory for how democrats do government........spend elephant money to buy a mouse.
