Looks to me the Muslim didn't need any influence from Christians or the United States to start fighting one another. While not an extensive history or dissertation of Islam, this may shed some light to those of us not very familiar with Islam.

Apparently when Islamic terrorists take hostages it is not a good thing give them time and try and negotiate for their release.

For this reason, the bodies have not been released to their love ones for burial.

I can't imagine how they thought they could keep this a secret.
