It's good to know for sure...especially because I will be there again in two weeks to pick up my father in-law.Visited ABIA today. I checked both the upper level check in area and the lower level baggage claim area.
No 30.06 signs were present. The airport is not posted.
I guess they must have removed the signs painted on the doors at some point in the past.
ABIA posted 30.06, is it enforceable?

So apparently it's been removed in the past few months, as it's been seen by folks here are recently as June.Thank you for your email to Assistant City Manager Rudy Garza. You are absolutely correct about the law as it pertains to the signage requirements for concealed handgun license holders. However, the signage you are referring to in your email was removed from the entrances of Austin-Bergstrom International Airport when the law changed. Upon receipt of your email we re-checked the entire airport to ensure we had removed all the signs you referenced; we did not find any still posted.
