This belly holster might help. I like to wear it a little higher with with the gun on the side, and it works great. Plus the tight wrap might help the back?

I agree with LT and Flint…give shoulder carry a try. It’s not my preferred method, but that’s just a personal bias. It’s a very valid form of carry.

Don’t overlook appendix carry. It’s very fast (faster than standard strong side IWB), very concealable, and more effective when sitting.

As others have said, give OWB a try. It’s really not as bad as you think. 80% of the time that’s my chosen method of carry and I’m not aware of actually being made except one time by our own Texasdoc

Just yesterday I was sitting in a restaurant with several LEO’s (local city and Sheriff’s department) and they didn’t suspect I was carrying a G19 and two spare mags…all OWB.

Kudos to you for finding a way to carry while dealing with your back problems. Many would have just put it in the safe for the duration…

I pocket carry a Glock 26 during the summer if I want to wear a T-shirt. Mika's products can be very very fast if you will take the time to become familar with it. I do not feel at a disadvantage when carrying with this method.

I carry a Glock 27 in a Bianchi 100 Professional IWB style holster. I am right handed and carry it on my left side. This creates a cross draw situation and it is placed on the front left side of my body rather then on the side or rear. It is fast and still allows for you to wear a t-shirt. Here in Texas it fits fine. Just a thought.

I agree with Danny. Move your IWB holster over to your weak side and try it from the cross-draw standpoint. I've used this before and its quite effective.

Well, as things stand right now, I'm carrying OWB. I had to move the holster to 3:00 instead of my usual 3:30 - 4:00. It's enough of a change that I can carry without irritating my Sciatic nerve. So far, at least. I'm still looking into finding a shoulder holster, but I'm still carrying my G23 while I'm looking.

I know all too well about nerve pain,I dslocated my c-7 t-1 vertebrate, i can carry in an IWB holster but it took a while for the sensitivity to adjust and i could carry for longer periods of time,but on my right side i tried to use a spare mag pouch and the mags touching my side feel like i'm getting stabbed.I've thought about carrying in a shoulder holster during cooler months lol,down here its feb and 90 degrees,one thing i do know is a gun ain't worth squat if ya can't get to it,and since i'm usually in a wheechair pocket carry wouldn't work for me.I hope you get your sciatic nerve problem fixed,It's not something a band-aid can make go away
