Interesting. Should we spend money in places like San Antonio, where the chamber of commerce actively works against allowing good Texans to store their guns in their own cars, or buy goods and software made in California where their congressmen have worked to restrict gun rights for all Americans?

We all have to draw our own lines fortunatly we get to choose where we draw them. and some lines are easier to respect than others. For example. I will buy California goods, but I won't go there any more. Easy decision. The place is over priced , and I don't enjoy the people their. San Antonio is tougher. I Went there a couple weekends a year for about 15 years .. I loved the Riverwalk and the Alamo. But going there provides funding to the chamber of commerce. I just spent 2 weeks in Mexico. The work and money I did their might be more help than it does harm. While their elected officials won't allow their own people to arm themselves, unlike the Pelosi crowd they aren't trying to disarm me in my own home.

Maybe the enemy within (San Antonio and California) is more dangerous to our rights than any foreign nation.

The port you leave from has metal detectors. And you will go through on board metal detectors when getting back on the ship after a port stop. Guns and knives ARE prohibited. We went at the end of last year.
We had a good time, but I paid alot of attention to my surroundings, and was constantly looking for improvised weapons, exits, cover, etc.
Don't get me wrong, I didn't stay in condition red, paranoid and all that. But my situational awareness was dang sure heightened.

Just get drunk on cheap rum downwind of a brushfire in certain parts of the state; it'll be pretty much the same as long as you find the right kind of brush
