I also avoid the crowds for SXSW and other events that have a big draw from out of town. The larger the event, the more the tourists seem to leave their manners and common sense back home.
It's ok. Austin hosts many large events throughout the year. You could log some serious TV time. Just think, ROT will
be all over by Sunday morning. The large crowd of unruly people will disburse and head back home. The sun will come
out and it will be a brand new day. Be happy.
