Not everyone who goes to ROT is there to drink or be stupid.

It doesn't take many.

Those biker type people are a scary bunch.

No matter if they ride a "hog" or a "wasp" it's wise to avoid stupid people in large groups. Nothing personal. I also avoid the crowds for SXSW and other events that have a big draw from out of town. The larger the event, the more the tourists seem to leave their manners and common sense back home.

Just do what makes you happy. Nothing personal. If the crowds are too much for you, then stay home and watch TV.
It's ok. Austin hosts many large events throughout the year. You could log some serious TV time. Just think, ROT will
be all over by Sunday morning. The large crowd of unruly people will disburse and head back home. The sun will come
out and it will be a brand new day. Be happy.
