Food for thought keep in mind the rifle was designed as a DMR and designed to shoot LIGHT BALL AMMO look at your head stamping and check to see if you are shooting Heavy ball and if so stop. It tends to damage the trunnions or buy a DEZ adjustable gas block for it and then you can run heavy ball. I just built two of them for this very reason. Also do to the design of the scopes from the east block get rid of the eye piece and you will find the accuracy goes way up.LGT*** wrote:What kind of Aks do you have?
I have this PSL (7.62x54), I've taken it to the range several times, but I have yet to hunt with it. The scope is a 4x, and I'm thinking about upgrading to something else.
The thing I love about this gun is the fact that you can have the scope mounted, and still use the iron sights. The casings tend to shoot out far and fast from this rifle, so I have to use a big piece of cardboard at the range to block their flight.
Thats a very sweet 64 you have there I built one just recently for a guy and they are very nice. Congrats on that one.Terlingueno wrote:I currently have two, sent another kit off to the builder today. All are Romanian
