Yay, got my PIN today! Perhaps the smilies brought me luck.

so far:

Took CHL class - 03/03/2007
Mailed in app - 03/07/2007
Recieved pin - 03/26/2007
Status "Processing Application" - 03/26/2007

Perhaps they are getting quicker... 2 week turnaround (the enveloped was marked 03/23) for sending out PINS. YAY!

Got my PIN letter today, dated the 21st. Hey NcongruNt, I took the (first time) class on the 3rd too, though I mailed the app on the 5th. The race is on!

Now I get to think long and hard how I'm going to carry my Stoeger around.

Here's to day 26!

Gleanerizer: how are you holding up?

I'm off to buy my Galco shoulder holster today! :) :anamatedbanana

Looking back at this thread, I seem to be dominating all the recent posts. Where are all the other angsty folks in waiting? C'mon y'all, don't suffer in silence! :bigmouth

Recived confirmation of receipt by DPS on March 5.

Got PIN on March 22. Status was "Processing Application"

MY birthday was yesterday and it still says "processing application" so I am now ready to receive, so let's get this rolling!

March 3: received by DPS
March 22: Received PIN
April 2: still processing...

Well, looks like I've got you beat fellas, unless the mail is really slow. Austin was mercifully quick.

Congrats! I may still beat you if they get around to approving mine quickly.
I've got the advantage of being a couple of miles from the DPS HQ, so mail transit time is theoretically less.

I got the "Application Complete" note today when I checked, so now I just have to wait for mail delivery!
