This post got me wondering what the rules are here in Austin. Surprisingly it is legal according to city code chapter 9-6-7.
(B) A person may discharge:
(3) an airgun in an enclosed building or shooting facility specifically designed to prevent a projectile discharged by the airgun from traveling beyond the boundaries of the building or shooting facility.
I may have to build my own facility. My neighbors on either side of me wouldn't complain.
