I wouldn't be worried if for some reason that one went over board. But not likely to happen in the Minotaur, I love that rig. Combines the comfort of leather with the utility of kedex.
I, too, use the Minotaur with my G27. Love it!

Also, my Serpa-2 keeps it in pretty good when I use it.

I personally haven't figured out a way to keep a gun in a holster attached to my belt with my pants down. I take the whole Bersa UC9 inside the Uncle Mike #15, and put it on the toilet paper roll, back of toilet, or even lap if I have to; same goes for cell phone. The LCP stays nicely in my front pants pocket.

Mine will stay put in my MTAC but I just take it out of the holster before sitting down and put it in the crotch of my pants until I'm done and ready to pull them back up. Then I just reholster, tuck back in and go on about my way.

But like was said, cheap holster are just that, cheap holsters most of the time with little to no retention.

I carry IWB 3 o'clock. To squat and go:

Pants to mid thigh while standing.

Slide holster (it does have a J or C clip, right, so it stays locked into your belt at ALL times, right???) to 5 O'Clock.

Fold holster forward into pants.

Drop pants to knees.

Go.

Reverse process to get redressed.

Never never never never take it out and set it aside in a restroom. You are asking to get distracted (phone call anyone???) and walk off without it.
No damage control is ever as good as prevention.

There have been many threads discussing this and the likelihood of leaving one behind in the stall. It happens often enough that it can't be recommended.

Grab holstered gun, rotate 90 degrees and fold in between your legs.

Please keep this thread about dropping a gun and NOT about how you go about using the toilet. This type of posts have gotten previous threads locked.

Yet the OP's accident was from lack of knowledge. Later, Embalmo expressed ignorance of a working technique.

I don't care how many threads get locked, this is not a subject to avoid or censor!
