Wow, being a mostly handgun forum I figured most people would vote 1911. Didn't realize how highly regarded the FNH was so I'm liking that.

I had an A/C guy come out today and that was a quick $400 spent on refridgerant. And he's telling me I need to replace two evaporator coils which could cost another $1400. So not sure where that leaves me I'm not sure I can even justify the purse to the wife now. She'd probably give me the look.

Had to replace evaporator coils just before we sold our house in San Antonio years ago (darn inspectors
) ... that was a not fun $2300 check to write. But the money we made at closing three week later made it all better

Yeah, I just finished replacing BOTH of my whole systems. Shopped around a lot and got a really good deal at $10.5K for a couple of high efficiency Trane units, but it still stings pretty bad. Would have rather been able to spend that money on some new guns.

If you have no debt and a good emergency fund, I say spend half on a purse and half on a range membership and ammo, but only if you're debt free.

Hmmm sounds like a Dave Ramsey fan I voted for the purse.
