2011 TexasCHLforum Day at PSC

Just checking to see if this is still the correct date so we can make work/travel plans.

You realize Apr 23, 2011 is Easter weekend?

I did not realize that was Easter weekend. We have approval to use April 30th, one of the rare 5th Saturdays in a month. We are considering a format change this year and we'll post information on that when a final decision is made sometime this week.

Gosh! I was planning on the 23rd to enjoy another year of shooty goodness and camaraderie, but, alas, it may not come to pass. The 30th of the month and the 1st of May are the dates of the annual Glock Match, the "Lone Star Classic XVII" to be held at DPC. We hope to beat our record of 385 shooters this year.

Still hoping for the 23rd.

Looks like we will be tired for Confirmation Sunday on the first of May! I will have to learn to reload on hubby's new setup so I can battle the star that I missed last time. Better get practicing with my new to me Colt

30th would be MUCH better for me too.
23rd is the 4th Sat & that is a regular CHL class.
If it is the 30th I will be there. If it is the 23rd I will move my class. I have my schedule sent in up to the 9th of April. I was working on it tonight. I will wait til the date is confirmed.

It seems like moving the TexasCHLforum Day to April is cursed! The NRA Annual Meeting week includes April 30th and duty calls. We're going to have to leave the Forum Day in October for another year, except this year it will be on Oct. 29th, the fifth Saturday. That way we don't have to cancel our regular monthly IDPA match.

This will be my son and My first time to go and we can't wait. We have heard about "the Star" and can't wait to try my hand at it. What do I need for ammo? I hear dumped 1,000 rds might not be enough!!
