i'm perplexed, they are new to Texas, and as I understand it, looking in middle markets and metro's crispy cream fell on it's face when it did this. I understand in n out is looking in waco.

in n out is good, but give me a mom and pop any day.

When you go, just remember this: Double Double, animal style. And fries. Gots to have the fries!!

If you can't remember, write it down! It's the way to go. Trust me.

Sounds like they're the Starbuck's of burger joints. No thanks, I'll pass.

Not really. Along with an image and hype, Starbuck's is selling sugar, caffeine and fat.

In-n-Out is selling a good old-fashioned hamburger made with fresh ground beef served with fresh produce on a soft bun. The burger patties are cooked to order and they don't sit under a heat lamp and they are not microwaved like their competition. Their French fries are made with real potatoes just like McDonald's used to have 50 years ago before they got into the "fast food" franchise business.

Wainting long lines for a burger? :headscratch
Find me a good eatery like ones you see on food channel, Drive-ins. Or, seafood shacks like the one you find on hampton beach, MA..

For burger lovers, what is wrong with Fuddruckers? Evrything you want in a burger made in front of you fresh, fresh vegitables.

Fuddrucker's is good. I had lunch there yesterday. In-N-Out is less expensive and you don't have to get out of your car. Most of their business is take away.

By the way, there was a line backing up onto SB 75 this afternoon. I'm presuming in line for in-n-out.

Maybe the novelty will wear off soon, but I have seen long lines at certain locations that have been open for a few years.

I first heard of In-N-Out burgers probably 15 years ago. They didn't have that many stores back then. I worked with a guy who would drive 30 miles round trip for lunch just to get his burgers.

People need to start taking a sack lunch to eat while they're waiting in line.

If you make minimum wage, that's a $15-20 burger.
I believe the basic political division in this country is not between liberals and conservatives but between those who believe that they should have a say in the personal lives of strangers and those who do not.

If you make minimum wage you probably work there and would get a free lunch. ;-)
