Gunvault from amazon.

$154
It is a 4 finger sequence you program - real fast. It has smarts where it tells if someone has been tampering trying to figure out your "code". But if you go with gunvault get the power adapter mine came with it. It is under the night stand on wall side of the bed.It opens in seconds. If you dont get the AC i think the batteries would die fairly quickly - it takes 8. My unit is a double decker kind of thing for two guns. They make singles. Anyway had it about 2 months every day xfering glock 23 from the safe to the car and back. Its been great.

I have this as well and have been very happy with it. I have it bolted down in my top drawer of the nightstand.

I've got the smaller 1 gun version that only runs on batteries. This thing EATS them. :banghead: I've had the safe about 7 or 8 months and I'm constantly having to test/replace the batteries. I've got a spare gun in the safe, so I'm not getting into it all of the time like Backfire. At this point, I don't trust that the batteries will be good if I need it in an emergency and I shouldn't have to check every week to make sure the batteries are good. I was actually thinking about contacting GunVault to see if I can get my money back.
