Um, that was what he just updated he did (which bumped this old thread up).tommyg wrote:go thru the app process again and put up with it fighting the burocrats is more trouble that re applying

Now that this is bumped, I was curious.....if I understand what happened, they said your CHL-100 was missing originally and that's what the letter was, which you received but apparently didn't respond to. You say the CHL-100 was not required due to it being your 3rd renewal. If that's the case, why could they not fix what would have been "their" mistake? Or were they standing on the fact that you never responded therefore it was too late to fix their mistake?Oehamilton wrote:I just did the whole process over including training. I could understand it if by the application being "terminated", they mean it was purged into the depths of never never land, never to be seen again.

Re: Administrative Interpretation Error?
I did get a letter about missing training document. I did not respond in time. But my original complaint was, if you mess up your renewal application, you are they required to start over as a New Orignial Applicant, instead of having to start a New Renewal Application. There's a difference in time and money between the two, as you know. In the statue, it states that you will have to start a new application, if you miss the deadline. It does not state that you have to start the application process as though you are a New Original Applicant even if this is your third renewal. In essence, you're reset to ground zero as though you have never had a CHL before. I could see that if my current CHL license had expired, but it had not. In fact, I went through the whole Original license process again and received my new CHL before my old one had expired.
