My only concern is the whole idea of leaving the camera in full view in the car. It is like a sign saying, "Break the window and steal me."
I never leave anything in view when I am not in the car.
What do you think?
Inexpensive Dashcams- I think I found one that will work!

JF I'll post the picture next week but you can't really see the camera from outside the vehicle. I am of the same belief, if it cost more than .02 don't let people know it is in your vehicle!Jumping Frog wrote:My only concern is the whole idea of leaving the camera in full view in the car. Re: Inexpensive Dashcams- I think I found one that will work
I have a handle bar bicycle cam - no kidding.
About a year ago, some nut in a pickup driving just behind me went bonkers when he saw me spray an attacking dog while I was cycling.
He threatened me without being specific. He hostilely shouted out his window, "Come to my neighborhood, do that and see what happens" or words to that effect. I was tempted to ask him where he lived, but decided not to since we were on a very remote road so remained mum... He wasn't alone. Though his passenger seemed a bit embarrassed. I could've been wrong about that too...
Now, if some loon decides to attack me for protecting myself I can record it.
As it is, I've no place to go where there aren't attacking dogs so I'm constantly recording.
And spraying.
I'm ALWAYS going to protect myself if attacked. If the law becomes involved, I'll have evidence of who is at fault.
Odd how some dog owners think their dogs should be allowed off leash, lease laws be darned, out of yard to attack and the attacked shouldn't protect themselves.
