I don't know if this could work, and probably wouldn't, but when Jay Leno did his Jay walking segments asking simple questions and showing just how ignorant much of the population is it was an interesting part of the show. I don't know if it could be adapted somehow to show how ignorant many people are about gun rights and thereby educate people. Good luck with it all.
It's fine if you disagree. I can't force you to be correct.

I believe dicion mentioned something similar, and I will look into it. I am in far western Texas where I can drive 25 to 30 minutes west and be in the not-as-great state of New Mexico. With this in mind it will make it difficult to do something like this on a regular basis BUT I think it can be done.LDB415 wrote:I don't know if this could work, and probably wouldn't, but when Jay Leno did his Jay walking segments asking simple questions and showing just how ignorant much of the population is it was an interesting part of the show. One thing I plan to do is a new to guns and gun rights segment after the end music. This way people who are more experienced and not really interested in the extremely basic information can still get the meat and potatos from the podcast and simply stop it at the music while people looking for material dedicated to new shooters or people new to gun rights can get some of the VERY basic info. By basic I mean the four rules, who can legally own a firearm, how to get your CHL, and so on.
A few people I know personally have suggested a reloading segment, however I would prefer to get an NRA certified reloading instructor to talk about that simply because I would hate to be half sick/asleep and give out bad information. Such bad information would be adding or leaving out a step, or incorrectly describing a process. If I do a reloading segment load data would NEVER be discussed.
How do you explain a dog named Sauer without first telling the story of a Puppy named Sig?
