No news on carjacking other than police are looking for Witness/shooter.
However news link is to a man who didn't like the spider near his gas tank fillet lid and tried to burn him with his lighter, setting fire to the gas pump. No information on how the spider is doing.

Blue nitrile gloves. Can find them on sale at Harbor Freight all the time.
Nitrile gloves leave finger prints behind inside the glove, I'll stick with white cotton.
What difference does it make if fingerprints are inside the glove? You are loading with gloves on so the brass you leave behind doesn't have prints. The gloves are going in the trash, who cares if they have prints inside them?

Not that anyone is gonna commit a crime, I know were just having a little fun, but I saw a case where a woman was convicted of killing get parents and her fingerprints were found in the gloves, in the trash can.

I could understand in that case. But in leaving brass behind the fingerprints in the gloves won't matter. If they showed up to your house looking for fingerprints then you left fingerprints somewhere else. In which case they'd be taking the fingerprints from your fingers. Now if we are talking about committing crimes while wearing gloves then it would totally matter. Which is why you should just go ahead and wear a full hazmat suit. So you don't leave any fiber or hair evidence behind either.
Aye just purely hypothetical. I do have blue nitrile gloves, but I used to airbrush some and wore them for that. So started wearing them when cleaning my guns. Nice not having oil and cleaning solution on my hands.
A man said he was hit on the head near a bus station on the edge of the parking lot. A witness saw what happened and as two suspects got in the man's truck to escape, the witness pulled out a gun and shot at the departing truck.

I wouldn't shoot at a departing truck, but this is a much different story than before...
Also no mention of brass, either left behind or picked up.
So, given our media, which when not plain incompetent likes to lie, maybe there never was any brass to pick up because the guy used a revolver. The police say, perhaps in response to a question, that no evidence like brass was found at the scene, so the reporter, whose gun knowledge comes from Illegal Mayors against guns and Hollywood thinks, aha, the shooter MUST have picked up his brass like the hit men do on TV, because who has a gun and shoots at people and is not a cop except criminals? There is no level of media incompetence or dishonesty that would surprise me anymore.
