Both are great guns and you wouldn't go wrong buying either. If you just can't choose just buy both.

I have both pistols. As stated above the Shield is less money and to me shoots better. The G43 is easier to conceal. I carry the Shield from time to time. My wife carries the G43 all the time because it is easier to conceal. Personally I believe the Shield has less felt recoil.
