Worse than getting sick in the DR, getting kicked off the plane and not being allowed to leave unless you charter an air ambulance.

Denver man made it on the plane, but they kicked him off when he vomited in the bathroom.

In hospital dieing. Kidney failure.
Denver man has died.

RIP

Politics and money. The DR borders Haiti, and, as I indicated, the progressive movement is strong and aggressive in Haiti. Irrespective of the cause of the morbidity/mortality, this is a "statistical deviation." The significance is that all events bear strong evidence of organphosphate poisoning, which is the cheapest, easiest terrorist weapon to use. A 5 gallon metal stock pot, a few gallons of particular pesticides and a hot plate, near an a/c intake, or placed with a direct line to particular room's a/c line is pretty easy. The fact that some are aerosolized, some seem to have been ingested, would indicate that someone is testing the efficacy and ease of delivery methods. If it's directed specifically against this resort, that's a pretty hard hit, or it may just be that the motivated individuals just have more ready access to this venue.
You think this is some kind of deliberate attack, not boot leg booze or weird coincidence?

Initially they were older people. Now we have a teenager and healthier people.

Wow!

Schumer wants ATF to investigate deaths in DR. When you are a hammer everything you see is a nail?

One week in DR will require medication for rest of life.
Had a great time till she got sick Day she was leaving. Fortunately not sick enough to get on plane and not be kicked off. During flight got much sicker, so sick almost paralyzed.

Almost kidney failure.

Very lucky.

McAfee (the computer security guy) and 4 friends were arrested in the Dominican Republic on gun charges.

Apparently there was a “high caliber” gun on their yacht.

DR is reeling from bad publicity about American tourists getting sick and dieing.

I guess arresting a rich American for having a gun on his yacht will help with this.

McAfee is a piece of work (Google his antics), but this is ridiculous. The guy is in perpetual fear for his life.
