Hair clip, clothes clip, what?
The little button you press to release the magazine, I allways refer to them as a clip release, dont know why.
I knew what you meant ;-)

Glock 21

it depends on what you plan on using the pistol for.

I currently own 5 glocks and have owned up to 7 at a time <g> Some are for carry and have little to no changes in them. For carry...polish trigger and front sights that I can see in a hurry. Night sights are not a big priority for me. They are only good for finding the gun on the bedside table......In low light, no light, etc where night sights are "needed"....well that is why they make really good flashlights. Blind threat, illuminate threat, take down threat, etc.

If you are interested in IDPA or other gun related shooting, then tweeking the glock is not unheard of. Of course one can shoot their "carry" weapon, but many find that the inner desire to be that much better than those one shoots against makes for an irresistable desire to "tweek" a gun.

Depending on what sport one shoots determines how much one can tweek. My G-21 for IDPA has 1) grip reduction .....I have small hands....yea and feet and all jokes concerning that issue is null and void <g> 2) Magazine well...for much faster reloads 3) trigger work with ghost connector 4) steel guide rod 5) stock rear adjustable sight but Hi-Viz front sight for quicker sight picture 6) extended magazine release 7) extended slide release 8) replacement barrel so that I can shoot both lead and jacketed bullets.

I shoot stock springs with ammo that conforms to IDPA power factor. I spent a lot of time working on finding springs that made me more competitive, only to switch back to stock springs with good ammo that feeds every time.
This gun is not my carry gun

Glocks with aftermarket internals tend to malfunction more often than those with Glock internals.

I installed a Glock 3.5 connector and one of the new Glock extended slide releases, plus I polished the internals myself with a felt wheel on a Dremel and some Simichrome. Added "The Plug" to the grip for purely cosmetic reasons - it has no effect whatsover on function - and that's it.

When I find some aftermarket sights I like, I'll install those . . . but I will NOT be getting titanium strikers, aftermarket trigger packs, aftermarket aluminum frames, or any of that stuff.

Be aware, that the "Plug" can have an adverse effect if your magazine base comes off.
