I also see that on most online gun forums. Invariably, someone is trying to sell a used firearm for more than it costs new at a gun show. Often they'll bump the thread a dozen times but never lower the price and wonder why there's no interest. Maybe they paid full retail and don't realize they're pricing themselves out of the market. Maybe they're like the hardly guys who think they should get $1400 out because they have $1500 "in" the gun. Who knows? A few lucky ones find a buyer that knows as little about the market as McKnife's friend. The unlucky ones don't.
