School parking lot carry?

Building is premises, football field is one example of grounds. If by walkway you mean sidewalk or street, then technically you would be in the right.

Ok, how about this scenario?
A couple of weeks ago, I spent my Saturday and Sunday taking the motorcycle rider's safety course. The driving portion was held in the parking lot of a high school football stadium and the classroom part was held in a room in the stadium where students would normally take their GED testing.
This is not a school sponsored event, nor was any school sponsored event happening at the time. However, it is on school grounds and you would be required to enter a school owned building to take part of the training.
After registering for the course, I received an email with the following announcement:
5. EVERYONE IS WARNED OF THIS!!!:
This class is held on school property & is subject to zero tolerance. No tobacco products of any type are allowed to be used on premises. No alcoholic beverages are allowed on premises. No Firearms or weapons are allowed on premises. There is a smoking area available during breaks. Please do dispose of cigarette filters.
My question is this: Even if it's held on school property but no school event is taking place, is it prohibited to carry? If so, then the earlier listed example of attending a church service in a school building would be a prohibited place to carry. Does the prohibition of carrying on school property extend to activities outside the realm of school sponsored activities?

No state agency or private party/entity has the authority to alter state law. School buildings are always off-limits, regardless whether any school activities are on-going. School grounds are not off-limits unless a school-sponsored event is occurring, regardless what other events may be taking place.

Most games at the level are not School sponsored even though that most are done by grade levels they are not run by the Schools. So by including that it does cover elementary football games? My daughter cheers and I was hesitant to carry at the games. But with the psycho parents now I would really rather carry.
Coaches are Parents and I believe the only thing the Schools provide is a Playing Field. Larger Cities most youth football is not played School grounds. My Grandson is playing on a youth team and I have found it interesting reading the signs posted at Schools. The latest was it was a Drug and Gun Free Zone, that was all it had on the sign. The other school said no firearms or Alcohol.
Our School has the 30.06 sign posted on a standard 8.5 X 11 sheet of paper on the doors to the building. If I understand it that is not a requirement for the Schools to post on the doors to the building.
