I've been known to grill while holding an umbrella once or twice.
Now that's dedication. :thumbs2:
Just for the record , that's not actually me in the picture but I've done the exact same before. ;-)
What could go wrong standing next to a Propane Tank, on your metal grill, holding a metal tool, in the rain, also did I mention people are big bags of water?

:iagree: I remember somebody commenting to me once that it was "grilling season". I responded that it was "grilling season" twelve months of the year. Depending on your set up rain and stong wind can sometimes be a problem.
When I was a volunteer fireman a lot of years ago, we had a big ice storm and then the temperature dropped severely. No electricity anywhere, so the firehouse was manned by several of us, so we could respond immediately even without power to the sirens.

And there we stood, in sub zero weather, grilling steaks, and potatoes, over the big charcoal pit outside the firehouse. Must have made quite a sight, but since then anything warmer is just that, warmer.

I like to use a beer marinade, but my wife doesn't like it as much as my sherry and soy mix. I rub a combo of cracked black pepper, course salt, and granulated garlic.

My wife marinades steaks in Worchestershire with a little salt and pepper. I then attempt to cook mine to medium-rare, hers to medium. Sometimes I get them right, sometimes not, but I've never grilled one that I couldn't eat. Gotta love steak!! :txflag:

The thing you want to do is get to know a butcher, even the one at the local grocery store. Become his buddy, and after a few visits you will always have the best cuts of meat. Usually I plan a few days ahead, go pay a visit and let him know what I want, how I want it cut, etc.. then get it the day after. Be sure to tip the man!

Its never too cold to grill.
