I thought the same thing. It is actually about half the thickness of my Beltman and twice as stiff. Stiff to the point of being downright uncomfortable. I tried to wear the thing a few times and it doesn't get better. It is cheap low grade leather and the color is nothing short of ugly. It is definitely a 7.99 belt. I sure won't be buying any more of them.

I just ordered one in 4XL...it's about 2 sizes too big so I'm guessing holes will be getting drilled.
Also, can I just express my hatered for UPS? Almost 12.00 to ship an item weighing less than a pound??? Geez!
