I was just on the site and where it used to say how many were on order it now has a flashing "LAST CALL".....
Any update on y'all's orders?

I also e-mailed them asking when they were expecting to ship.

The guy supposedly sends out updates every so often. I have not pre-ordered one, however the most recent news I heard via the Saiga-12 forums was yet another "it's coming". Hope folks don't get ripped off on this... :???:

I've converted my thinking about the Kushnapup from "pre-ordering" to "donating to a hair-brained scheme that just MIGHT pay off some day." Now that my brain has tossed the money into the "donation" pile, I don't feel so bad "rlol"

True enough! I did as much digging as I could over on the S12 forums out of curiosity, and so far some folks have successfully received a refund from "Bjorn", however others seem to have had a much harder time and had to get their money back via a Credit Card dispute. Some people have described him as being professional and issuing refunds on request, while others have described him as condescending and insulting (going as far as calling customers derogatory names). I personally think the guy is running a scam, and really hope that folks interested in the kit read up about it and the problems surrounding Kushnapup before they spend their cash on something that could quite possibly never come into existence.

Then again, I stopped by a local store in town and when asking about a converted S-12 on the gun rack I was told "People don't much like the price tag for such an awfully useless gun" (paraphrased), so You'd wonder why the S-12 aftermarket has been so booming (Kushnapup included, vaporware or not people have been sending tons of cash to them) according to that employee's logic. I held my tongue and just said "interesting" and walked away quietly.

Speaking of other S-12 related things, MD Arms finally showed some movement on their double stack magazine's. Their patent was made public recently, but that's about it. Mike D of MD Arm's took a lot of flak over the MD-20 because he ran a pre-order - many folks started down the path of calling his product vaporware back then, that is until he started shipping and people realized what a jewel the MD-20 was. Folks are still calling the double stack mags vaporware, and while I certainly wish that MD would be a bit more forthcoming on when these may hit the market, there is a lesson to be learned somewhere under all of this. I'd personally love some DS mags for the S-12!
