"rlol" Yeah, agreed. it's a matter of choice and taste. :tiphat:
I actually viewed them as "old man" shirts because my dad wore them and I thought they looked funny on him. (That's where I actually got them when he passed away)
The right style/colors/combination can help.
But it's a style choice.
I wear White tucked in Oxford Dress shirts to church.
I like the Camo print shirt I showed with khaki cargo pants/shorts.
I wear flannel lumberjack type shirts in Winter. ;-)
There's lots of options, Just throwing out options. I don't dress the same every day or all occasions
I don't wear fancy silk pretty pastel colored wedding shirts around Montrose ... personal choice.

The only "concession" I've made to carrying is a slightly larger size of pants and shirts. I've been dressing in business casual for years, and I'm not about to change. But I've found that I can wear the same shorts and the same t-shirts that I've always worn in the summer time without reducing concealability at all. Unless you wear skin tight t-shirts, an untucked t-shirt will hide a multitude of sins. For work I have to tuck. I have no choice. I refuse to wear a suit and tie, and I'm not about to dress like a slob. Winter is much easier, because any coat or covering will hide your weapon.

I think others have answered this question well relative to some aspects, but one aspects I don't think I saw was that of the Kydex against the skin... which I've never tried directly. Before my first wear, I got some Under Armor undershirts. So the Under Armor goes between my skin and the holster - this helps eliminate my concerns about discomfort from skin annoyance from rubbing, pulling, wet accumulation, etc.
If you don't like the idea of kydex against your skin, try one of the leather/kydex hybrid IWB holsters like Crossbreed Supertuck, Comp Tac M-TAC, Old Faithful holsters, Durham holsters etc. In this style, only leahter touches your skin, but the kydex half-body is there to allow a quick draw and easy one-handed reholstering.

This is very sage advise here. And the "correct" answer should be obvious.

But there ARE ways to stay fashionable AND carry more than a mousegun in the pocket. Tuckable inside-the-waistband holsters require only slight modifications to overall wardrobe - a) possibly wider width in waist of pants b) slight larger/longer shirts so you can "blouse" the shirt over the tucked holster just a bit.

Again, carrying a gun "tucked" is a compromise. But all concealed carry is a compromise. Heck, carrying a handgun at all is a compromise - I'd rather be carrying a full-auto AA-12 shotgun with a LaRue Tactical .308 rifle with ACOG as "backup" ;-)

The trick is to find what works best for you. Whatever you choose, PRACTICE with your chosen carry rig. If you carry tucked, dry practice (WITH A COLD UNLOADED GUN!) pulling up your shirt, drawing your weapon, and acquiring a target. Practice this A LOT because it's not as instinctual as sweeping aside a jacket or vest to grab a gun in an OWB belt holster. TIP: use your weak hand to untuck the shirt; strong hand grips the weapon & draws as normal - if you carry concealed under a T-shirt or other full-wrap around cover garment (as opposed to a vest or jacket that is open in front), this same weak-hand lifting of concealment garment is used - but with a tucked shirt it's a more difficult manuever.

If you cannot have your gun in your hand with a good sight picture and squeeze off a shot in less than three seconds, you may need to rethink your carry method (for reason why, research the "Tueller Drill")

Some years ago I asked my daughter what she thought of these shirts and she said not one word, but wrinkled her face up as if she's smelled something like road kill.

My perspective exactly!

Doesn't matter what you wear on the outside, it's what's inside (the waistband) that counts :thumbs2:

and YES I'm talking about your handgun, folks (get your minds out of the gutter)

Oddly, my niece, a sophomore in high school reminds me to wear my hat if I'm taking her somewhere, all the high school kids like it and want one. (She borrowed the yellow one and won't give it back) Even when I go to Walmart in another city high schoolers come up talking about it, usually guys. It was a little scary once when a 19 year old girl started flirting with me and said I looked 30, (I'm 56 tomorrow) When I drive my niece places girls hollar at the car "nice hat" and she laughs. I went to an outdoor band practice and Football guys all surrounded me and I ended up in a photo for some school thing with them.

Also old gray haired ladies now spot me and hollar hello too .... many I don't really know ...

But I'm getting well known enough now ,,, maybe I"ll run for the school board, they need to cut budgets and I know how they can .... stop watering the driveway with the sprinklers while it's raining, replace the 1,000 600 watt light fixtures with energy efficient lighting  Sometimes there's a reason I want to be noticed ... kayaking, running for office maybe, etc. Burnet City Council "gives" $500,000.00 annually to a private company which has that much loss per year who has a local swimming pool/health club like a YMCA and they get that $ instead of becoming fiscally responsible and managing correctly (They tried to sell it to a YMCA who visited it and decided they didn't want to lose money).... so I might run for council sometime. I can't see giving millions away, and complaining the city doesn't have enough money ...

But yeah, I'll not give "fashion advice" I was just showing options ;-)

Thanks for the suggestion, and I'm considering getting a hybrid... but I'm still going to wear the undershirt, because even the idea of leather snugged against my skin bothers me. Guess I just have oh-so-tender skin.

In all honestly, wearing the undershirt to go between skin and holster is not a problem for me. At least not as long as I don't overheat in the summer sun while wearing it. That's a nice thing about the Under Armors I bought, though - they are designed to help with comfortable wear even in really hot. NOTE: This is all in theory at this point. I only got my IWB about two weeks ago, and my Under Armors a day before that. So still have yet to see summer with this setup.

Don't think so. But I am suggesting a look at High Noon tuckables.
