for $30 for one, well worth the investment
I am a little confused about these belts. All I can find out is that they are made with "premium materials" and reinforced. Are they made from leather reinforced with some kind of polymer? Or are they made completely from polymer?

As of right now I have a 5.11 but I am in market on a stiffer one. Only draw back I have ,line of work I do I tend to sweat since I'm in and out of the heat all day long and need some feedback on one that would be ruined due to this. :tiphat:

I dont think they are leather, but they have the look and feel of leather, except the stiffness.
I think they are 2 layers of some man-made material with a think layer of kydex between them.
they look nice, and seem to be good quality.

Another good option A & G Custom Gun Leather
Good product and a great turnaround if you go with their express service.

Haven't ordered from these guys in a while, but they're decent, though for the price there are better options Rafter S
yep, I ordered mine from AG Gunleather too. Been wearing it every day for about 9 months, it has held up well, very satisfied.

I don't know of any that are made with a fake leather. Most use two pieces of leather and have a piece of thin kydex or other stiffening material sandwiched between them. The other nice thing is that most allow you to chose buckle color, and even allow you to use your own buckle.

The others like the Wilderness Tactical belts are made of thick nylon or other synthetic materials. I have one of those without any added stiffening and its worked well, simply because its double layered nylon so its fairly stiff to begin with.

I'm currently using a Wilderness Tactical Instructors belt and, while I don't carry outside the home (still working on the CHL) I wear the belt everywhere and do sometimes carry in the home (to get used to it). I find it to be very comfortable and it distributes the weight of my pistol perfectly.

I have a belt i got in Pennsylvania from an Amish Leatherworker there just outside Meyerdale PA, in somerset county. He makes everything by hand and by hand i mean he also doesnt use any electricity to run his machines they are all hand operated and his belts and tack are fantastic. i'd post a pic but i am working and.. i cant take my belt off or my pants will fall down.

My favorite is from Gunners Alley. I think I'll order another! [EDIT] I just did!

I really like the Frequent Flyer series from Wilderness Tactical, esp. the 5-stitch models.....tough as all get-out, yet comfortable....can even be machine washed (gentle cycle, cold water, no bleach, air dry)....I own two...one is over two years old, and it looks as brand-new as the new one....

I like this belt style too. This one doesn't appear to be very wide?

I found this Patagonia a couple of years ago. It is 1 1/2" wide and very stiff.

They are used by rock climbers. This link shows a newer model buckle than mine. I bought mine a several years ago. I like it because it is very strong, stiff, and the buckle doesn't slip at all. I can snug my IWB very tight against my body and it will stay.

The leather belts I have invariably have the holes in the wrong place. I got tired of punching a hole between a hole.
