Unless you know someone in El Paso that will do the job for a reasonable price, $100 or less, send your slide back to Glock. The last time I did that the cost was $70 and I had to pay postage. Turnaround was 2 weeks.
MeproLight makes good sights.

I found this on EBAY: http://cgi.ebay.com/Meprolight-10224-Ni ... 3404wt_905....
http://cgi.ebay.com/TRIJICON-GL01-TRITI ... 720wt_1139
I called one of the shop where I bought my G23 and they said installation is $25. Is the installation price reasonable?

Looks like both of those deals will run a little over $100 before you are finished. That is about the same as Glock charges from the factory.
There, that gives you 3 choices. Go for it!

I don't fear guns; I fear voters and politicians that fear guns.

Yeah, I've fired the Monarch brass. Filthy stuff but it went bang. Steel casings are bad because they are hard. feeding/ejecting could mar a chamber. I ran some (five) through a revolver, when I had to drive them out of the cylinder I quit.baraco01 wrote:@dragonfighter, have you ever fired those russian ammo - monarch? It either comes in brass or steel cased. Would the steel case be bad for the gun? The reason I ask is the owner of the gunshop where I bought this baby said that steel cased ammo will "harm" the gun. And that the monarch brands are crappy. How true is this?
