Life sentences for murder too extreme, way to long.

New York State wants to change that.

Photo journalist arrested in NYC for filming an arrest. On the video he posted, he says, I am stepping back, after he was asked to step back. One officer is heard to ask, why is he being arrested.

NYC subway thief arrested 156 times, thanks Democrat’s for reforming NY bail system.

Arrested 6 times so far this year, released without bail each time.

Isn’t America great, a country where you can make a uninterrupted living from stealing. My comment not the crooks.

Elderly 84 yo woman was punched for not keeping 6 foot distance in the hospital emergency room and she later died from her head injury while awaiting treatment. Hospital was busy.

Hospital police ticketed her 32 yo assailant with disorderly conduct and she was released and not admitted to the hospital for mental illness.

Hospitals in New York have their own police force, who knew.

After the elderly woman’s death, NYPD plans to upgrade the charges.

Not surprising at all. As more and more law enforcement agencies announce a "no arrest" policy towards crimes, it is only going to get worse.

DeBlasio: NYC Desperately Needs Help, But Not From a Christian Organization

This is the dictionary definition of 'looking a gift horse in the mouth'.

https://www.redstate.com/jenvanlaar/2020/04/01/810245/
https://gothamist.com/news/de-blasio-sa ... s-hospital

Some quotes from the articles linked above:
Samaritan’s Purse, a charity run by Franklin Graham, has set up an Emergency Field Hospital in New York City’s Central Park to treat overflow patients from Mt. Sinai Hospital. Since Samaritan’s Purse isn’t down with the woke agenda de Blasio and other city officials are “very concerned” about the help they’ll render.
Mayor Bill de Blasio said the city will keep a close eye on the Christian fundamentalist group operating a field hospital in Central Park, amid growing fears that some New Yorkers could face discrimination and substandard care from the religious organization.

(snip)

"We're going to send people over from the Mayor's Office to monitor," de Blasio said. "I am very concerned that this is done right. But if it is done right, we need all the help we can get."
Your best option for personal security is a lifelong commitment to avoidance, deterrence, and de-escalation.
When those fail, aim for center mass.

New York state just issued a drastic new guideline urging emergency-services workers not to bother trying to revive anyone without a pulse when they get to a scene, amid an overload of coronavirus patients.

He seeks to unseat Bill DeBlazio as mayor in next election.

In 2000 he was an armed hijacker who hijacked an airliner headed for Las Vegas.

He’s better now.

A little tongue in cheek, but how much worse would he really be? Or could he really be worse at all? :biggrinjester: :evil2:
