One of the reasons they're losers is because they live mostly in the moment and can't imagine the consequences of their actions.

Then you 2 guy volunteer to be to ones who foot the bill for 60 yrs.

I agree w/ the gallows. Extreem? Yes. Crime has become so extreem over the yrs that punishment has become so far into the future & so comfortable.
Basketball courts, Handball, TV room.
I am old enough to remember Huntsville State Prison.
Ex convicts said Dont go ther.
In 1987 I had a man headed for TDC for 40 yrs tell me he couldn't wait to get there because he would have something to do & he was boared here in Angelina Co. Jail.
It costs the taxpayers more to put someone to death, than to house them in prison for their life. I'm still for doing it, but not for the financial benefit.

The last of these poor misguided little lambs violated her probation and was sentenced to 12 years in the slammer.

The 22 violations included DWI, possession of controlled substances, and bribery.

I don't know what this sentence actually means in terms of mandatory time, parole, etc. She should be in better shape after she dries out and her fellow inmates teach her a few lessons from the school of hard knocks.

It is extreem. Murder is extreem too. Robbery, burglery & even assault victim can recover their losses & sometimes health. No murder victim ever recovered. Rape is extreem crime of violence. The victim never is restored. you cannot unmurder or unrape someone. Extreem justice is valid for extreem violent crime. You are closer to right than you think.:thumbs2:

Works for me. As long as you get the right guy, beyond a reasonable doubt. Not only that but you put the kibosh on recidivism. There is no good in recidivism!

Actually, I always prefer getting them in the act. That way there is no chance of getting the wrong guy.
Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.
